To raise awareness of AMR issues among oral health communities in the WHO African Region to optimise the use of antimicrobials through engagement of oral health professionals in the implementation of the national antimicrobial stewardship policies
Objectives
To ensure that antimicrobial are used in oral heath treatment when strictly necessary
To reduce oral health diseases thus lowering the demand for antimicrobials
To train oral healthcare professionals to ensure adherence to evidence-based guidelines for the administration of antimicrobials
