Description
The Purpose of this training is to: Equip healthcare providers with the necessary knowledge and skills to improve early detection, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of lung diseases. By strengthening the capacity of frontline healthcare workers, we aim to: Enhance early screening and diagnosis to ensure timely and accurate detection of respiratory illnesses. Improve lung disease management strategies, including the integration of asthma, COPD, and TB care within primary healthcare services Optimize diagnostic and treatment approaches, ensuring access to essential medications, diagnostic tools (e.g., spirometry, digital X-rays), and patient-centred care. Strengthen data recording, reporting, and surveillance, allowing for better monitoring of lung disease trends and informing national policies. Reduce morbidity and mortality associated with chronic lung diseases by promoting best practices in respiratory care
